and pick up a good book. In our last episode, we read the final pages of A Tale of Two Cities.

I know this story was a little more dramatic than our usual books, as so many

Dickens novels are, but I do hope you enjoyed it. I personally found it fascinating to understand

more about the French Revolution from this perspective. What did you think?

Miss Pross and Mr. Cruncher were waiting the instructed one hour to leave after the carriage

carrying the rest of the family. Theirs would be a lighter conveyance,

able to catch up and overtake,

without the weight of the luggage.

They decided that Mr. Cruncher would go to the postmaster

ahead of Miss Pross,

and he would pick her up outside the cathedral doors at 3pm.

After he left, Miss Pross went to ready herself, when Madame Defarge appeared in the room,

demanding to see Lucy.

Miss Pross refused to let her pass, knowing that if it was clear they had fled, they would be pursued.

A struggle ensued as Madame Defarge lunged towards the bedchamber doors.
