I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox. True Crime Minute. The last of the 10 prisoners who escaped in New Orleans jail nearly five months ago, now back behind bars, found hiding in a crawl space under a home in Atlanta.

Derek Groves had been on the run since May 16th after breaking out of the Orleans Justice Center in New Orleans with nine other inmates.

28-year-old was convicted of murder and facing a possible life sentence before the group of inmates escaped through a hole behind a toilet.

He had the most violent criminal record of the group and a $50,000 reward was offered for tips.

U.S. Marshals say they finally got that tip and spent hours searching the house for groves.

They even had to deploy gas multiple times to try to get him out. A police dog eventually located him. In a video provided by police, Groves is seen shirtless, shoeless, and shackled blowing a kiss and gritting at the camera as he was led into a police car.
