I'm your host, Jack Pilgrim of Kentucky Sports Radio, very excited to be joined finally. Once again, by the one and only Sean Smith. Sean, how the heck are you?

I am fantastic, Jack Pilgrim. How are you? A little down. You know, offseason rumblings,

carousel portal ins and outs.'s over and you know you just kind of

have to deal with the reality that that chaos is is you know the dust is settled on that chaos

and now we just kind of have to wait for the excitement you know you got the the news that we've all

been waiting for all offseason

with Otega O'A coming back. And now it's like, okay, well, now we just have to spend the rest of

the summer, you know, waiting for these summer workouts to begin and kind of get in the intel of like,

ooh, who's standing out, who's looking good? But now really there's nothing left tangible to

kind of hang on to until the season starts.

So it's kind of, you know, it's exciting to know what you have and to have clarity there,

Sean, but it is a little, you know, it's deflating to not be able to kind of speculate and

get to the bottom of the roster chaos. So good and bad things.

Yeah, I mean, we do so much of it for about four or five, six weeks that it seems like every day we're speculating something.

And then when you get that final decision, you're like, I'm kind of going to miss that.

But it is good to know what Kentucky has and kind of be able to talk about, you know, what this

thing's actually going to look like from a rotation standpoint to who we think are going

to be guys that emerge and kind of have those year, that breakout year that some guys on

this past roster had.

So at least you got clarity on what you can expect from Kentucky.

But the talking and portal season stuff, all the drama of it is kind of entertaining
