This is a recap of final weekend, the last round of fixtures of the EFL regular season.

They were split up, so we had early on Saturday, League 2 in the evening on Saturday, League 1, and Sunday

was the finale of the championship. I'm Ali Maxwell. I've got George Ehrlich alongside me, and George,

this is not going to be a lengthy podcast. Is it not just because it's bank holiday Monday

and we'd love to spend some time with our loved ones

at some point but also because well already today we've been seen and heard and there's

going to be a lot more of that in the coming days yeah I like that you've said that I'm

alongside you when we're actually miles and miles apart and we're doing this over the phone so

for once I'm actually not alongside you. In spirit.

It was, yeah, this morning I went down to the Times and did the game podcast with some of the biggest names in the game.

It was there with Natalie Sawyer, the host, Gabby L'Marcotti and Alison Rudd as well, which was pretty cool to talk about the playoffs, mainly the championship, because we are, the kind people at the times are very kindly asked us to write their playoff previews.

So it was to push that and that was good, and I came home.

Very kind of us to agree to do that for the time.
