Summary

(00:00-29:02) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison briefly discussing last night’s Monday Night Football game and the passing of James Earl Jones. It leads to Jake wondering which is a bigger deal now between Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football.

(29:02-41:57) – Towards the end of the first segment, Jake started previewing this week’s game for the Indianapolis Colts in Green Bay. He highlights the threat that Josh Jacobs presents if the Colts cannot sure up the run defense. Finally, there a couple calls that trickle in about the game and then one wanting validation that people in Green Bay won’t be rude to Colts fans.

(41:57-49:55) – The first hour of the program concludes with Jake taking a couple more callers with questions about their visit this weekend to Green Bay and then one caller sharing his experience.

(49:55-1:16:30) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder joins Jake Query to provide an update on the status of Matt Gay and Josh Downs, shares what Gus Bradley told the media during his media availability when it comes to defending the run against Houston, believes that Anthony Richardson was overthinking it a little bit on Sunday to try and be perfect instead of being free flowing, highlights one of the Adonai Mitchell incompletions because he thinks the penalty prevented Richardson from connecting with Mitchell, and evaluates the running lanes for Jonathan Taylor.

(1:08:48-1:29:24) – Tom Noie from the South Bend Tribune joins Query & Company ahead of the Notre Dame/Purdue game to rehash what went wrong against Northern Illinois, states that nobody should be able to trust Notre Dame to win out the rest of the season, examines the rest of the schedule that can bolster its resume to climb into the top twelve to make the CFP, believes that Riley Leonard isn’t healthy and that’s largely why he has struggled, and labels this game as being all about Notre Dame.

(1:29:24-1:36:10) – Hour number two concludes with Jake having one of his friends from

(1:29:24-1:36:20) – Hour number two concludes with Jake having one of his friends from Green Bay, Tony Stitch, call in to the program. Jake asks him about the environment that Colts fans will be walking in to on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

(1:36:20-2:00:51) – GoldAndBlack.com’s Tom Dienhart makes his first appearance on the program with Jake Query to remind people of Purdue’s dominating win over Indiana State in week one, highlights a couple of areas of the team that need answered before the Boilermakers open up conference play, believes that Ryan Walters has to reiterate to his team this week that they cannot overlook Notre Dame following the loss to Northern Illinois, and then reveals how surprised he was with how open Ryan Walters was about the importance of this game for Purdue.

(2:00:51-2:15:44) – Yesterday there was a report regarding another lawsuit for Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. This sparks Jake’s mind to play John Fanta’s rant about Watson’s play with Cleveland getting annihilated by Dallas.

(2:15:44-2:20:39) – Today’s show ends with the JCook Plays of the Day and JMV joining Jake and Eddie in studio!
