Finley, hopefully as well. Caps' playoff

opponent is Carolina in round one. They begin their defense of their Stanley Cup on Thursday night

at Capitol One Arena in game one. They were four and oh against the hurricanes in 2018, 2019.

This would appear to be a good matchup for the Caps,

and if they get by it, it's the Penns or the Islanders,

who will play each other in a first-round matchup.

And if you get through Carolina easily

and the Islanders and Penguins beat each other up,

that would seem to play out well for the Caps,

who would also have the home ice advantage in that series as well.

Interestingly, the caps are just the third pick, and it's not even close, actually, to win the Eastern Conference.

Tampa Bay, I think I mentioned this maybe a couple of weeks ago, Tampa Bay is an even money favorite. They are a monster favorite to

represent the East in the Stanley Cup finals. The Bruins are next at 4 to 1 and then the Caps at 5 to 1.

So Tampa's a major favorite to represent the East. I know how good they are in the regular season

they had,

but I thought the Caps final three games against Tampa, it certainly proved that the Caps are not a long shot to beat Tampa in a best of seven, I wouldn't think. But Tampa, a heavy

favorite to win in the East and represent the East in the Stanley Cup finals. The playoffs get
