| 0:17.3 | Thursday is night one of the NFL draft. |
| 0:20.5 | And, well, we don't even know who's going number two overall at this point, JP. |
| 0:24.6 | It's still very up in the air, but we know who's going number one. |
| 0:27.5 | So we'll be rolling through the top 32 here, all 32 picks. |
| 0:31.1 | We've got six teams now with multiple picks after the Bengals traded away number 10 overall to the New York Giants in exchange for Dexter Lawrence over the weekends. That means the Giants have picks five, picks 10, Joe Shane. He's got to do better than he did in 2022 when he got KT and Evan Neal with picks five and seven in the top 10. We'll see who they're taking in this one. JP, we drew before the show. Who gets to go first? You drew the short straw, which means you go number one because no one wants to draft number three, it seems like, this year. Yeah, number three is a little bit more of, that's where the draft starts with the Cardinals at three. There's so many people that could be taken there. But if we're going to start number one overall, this feels like cut and dry. |

| 1:13.3 | It is Fernando Mendoza, quarterback from Indiana. |
| 1:16.4 | This just feels like it has been manifested since the national championship. |
| 1:20.7 | He's going to be the first overall pick. |
| 1:22.2 | I love his ability to play under pressure, the prototypical arms side, the strength. |
| 1:27.4 | I think that he has all the tools to at least be a quality starting quarterback in the NFL. |
| 1:32.5 | And I don't think that Clint Kubiak is going to rush him into starting with Kurt |
| 1:36.1 | cousins on the roster. |
| 1:37.6 | But I do think this is going to be a really nice fit for Mendoza in Vegas. |
| 1:42.2 | Yeah, Clint Kubiak and Mendoza, I love the pairing. |
| 1:45.5 | I think it's going to be very successful early on. |
