Hello everyone! This is a full episode preview of a story exclusive to Little Stories for Sleep,

a bedtime podcast just for Little Stories premium subscribers. The episode I'm sharing with you

today, Finn and The Reef, is part of a new series I'm calling Wandering Sleep Stories. These are

peaceful stories designed for bedtime. There are no ridiculous surprises, just calming music,

and quiet storylines. On Little Stories for Sleep, these stories appear without an intro or outro.

Just the story framed by soft music. I do most of my audio editing in the afternoons,

sitting in my cozy recliner, and I find it rather difficult to get through editing these stories

without falling asleep. Hopefully they have the same effect on you. Enjoy!

Finn was a young tropical fish with bright, cobalt fins and shimmery streaks of silver down his

sides. He lived in a coral reef in the sea off the coast of an island. The reef was vivid with life.

The little lazy starfish, who every now and then, curled their legs upward towards the sun.

There were graceful sea turtles, who languidly swam around the reef, wearing stern expressions,

like centuries guarding a palace. Schools of shimmery pearlescent fish,

traveled so closely together, they created the illusion of being one colossal fish,

darting this way, and that. The reef itself was a sight to behold, with every inch covered in bouquets

of sea plants, sponges, and creatures of every color imaginable. It was a magical underwater forest.

Finn didn't see much special about it. In fact, he was rather reluctant to explore it,

as there were so many mysteries lurking in the reef's little hideaways. You never knew when a predator

might emerge from an unseen layer. Finn preferred to keep to his little cove, just a small part of the

expansive reef. In the mid-morning, the sun far above the water's surface was blindingly bright.

The water took on an electric quality, and every living thing within it seemed to bask

in the sunlight, filtering down through the sea. On one such morning, Finn was busy searching for a snack
