Well, well, well, well.

Hi guys, Liz here.

It is 7.15 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7th, which, by the way, tomorrow, May 8th, is my 5-year-sober anniversary.

How exciting is that? Nobody cares about that right now.

Let me set the scene. again in my car. Apparently I do all my podcasting from my car. Why am I doing that right now? Well, because I was just, you know, minding my own business. I got a massage. My body hurt. I'm hearing my phone go off at the end of my

massage thinking, ugh, what the fuck could this possibly be? I don't really feel like talking to anybody.

This is annoying. I get up, I mosey on over, and my phone has exploded because MTV has fired Janelle Evans. Wow. Wow, wow, wow, wow,

wow, wow, wow. I can't remember what I said on the last podcast if I thought they would fire her or not,

but I know that I said like on Reddit and I said talking to people that I truly

wasn't sure what they were going to do, I really could see it going either way. And I'm not

surprised that they fired her, but I am surprised that they fired her. As I have always,

always said, Janelle is absolutely the light flood of this show.

For me, at least, she has been from 16 in pregnancy, season two. She has always been the most

entertaining, but I understand my MTV had to part ways with her. Like, this is a bridge too far.

They lost advertisers. The story wasn't really going away although

the ratings for last night monday night were apparently up 20,000 but i don't know 20,000 doesn't

seem that significant to me although i guess anybody tuning in instead of tuning out as like a protest

is good for mtv but they were legitimately losing sponsors.

You know, every day on Reddit, they were posting more and more sponsors that were lost.

And they had to fire her, I think.

Like, I don't think that MTV was going to be able to get around this.

I don't think people are going to let it go.
