I always like to kick things off with something super interesting, and let's say you went to a job

interview earlier in the day.

Everything was great.

You're like, oh, I totally nailed it.

Then 1130 at night, one in the morning, you get an email from this person at the company

and says, hey, you know what?

I think you're doing a great job, but I just have a few questions, or I missed you at the company and says, hey, you know what? I think you're doing a great job, but I just

have a few questions or I missed you at the company today and would you mind letting me know a few

things or whatever it may be. They're looking for you to reply. Now, if you didn't get the message

and you didn't reply in a timely manner, meaning like at that very moment, you may not

have gotten the job. What? Yeah, I think this is crazy. A recruiter for a company in Houston says

he does this to all his prospective employees. He says that responding quickly would put you ahead

of all the competition. It shows that you would respond to your clients quickly too.

At midnight, one in the morning, that's a pretty rough one.

You know, I interviewed somebody this past week, and true story, I said, where do you see

yourself in five years?
