And we're going to do another topic, I think, of interest to film goers, film likers, film lovers. And it's going to be really, really fun. We're going to talk about coming of age films today. And what really constitutes one. And you might say to yourselves there at home, self, why did they do goonies and not bring this up? Because, man, that seems like a movie you would do that in.

Well, we kind of purposely did that because we wanted to save these thoughts for the broader subject.

Also, we were instructed not to.

That's true.

We were.

Also, the Goonies.

They threatened.

Yeah.

The Goonies specifically doesn't fit neatly into coming of age, the subgenre.

So what I want to what I want to propose is that there are elements, right, that make a movie, a coming of age movie.

And the main one is that the characters grow somewhat from adolescence toward adulthood.

There's some character development, you know, like from going to being a kid to being an

adult.

But there's not just sexual awakenings like weird science, right?
