Well, everyone, welcome to the Film Junk podcast lineup reveal episode for July 2026. So this is the first

of what will hopefully be a continuing thing here on the show. And Jay, you had the idea that maybe

maybe we could juice some things a little bit because, you know, we do have slight conversations about, you know, our selections for each month now moving forward.

And why not capture some of that conversation and give it to the listeners?

Absolutely. I mean, I'm sure there's some fun to be had talking about our selections and, you know, back and forth jabs about who picked the dumbest thing and so on and so forth. So why not take advantage? Get it down on on tape, release it to the people.

Yeah, I think it's a good idea.

I mean, maybe people don't even know sort of the process we've been using the last few months,

but, you know, the idea is that we each bring a movie to the table. And then, you know, usually

there's one other or two others that we kind of decide on collectively. So, you know, we'll be

kind of doing our individual reveals, which as of right now, we don't know what each other's picks are.

So this is, you know, this is a live reaction right here.

We do know what the collective picks are, although this month, one of them, is a mystery pick

that we're not announcing ahead of time.

So we'll maybe discuss that choice, why we decided to do the mystery thing in just a minute, but anything else we need to set up before we get into these juicy reveals?

I don't think so.

I think we're ready to see who reacts negatively.

I think it's going to be Jayay i think jay is gonna like it

little imaginary gum chewing there uh some things in store we'll see what it is

okay nothing crazy going on here.

Now, should we also start off by saying that there's a, there is a current release that

will be part of the schedule as well, which is Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, which I think most people could probably guess we were going to be talking about that, but that will be part of the lineup.
