Yes, that's right, and we are doing our film discoveries of 2019.

Yeah, we like this. This is a lot of fun. We've been doing this since the beginning of the show, and it's neat to keep track of your favorites from 2019 or whatever year we're talking about, but I think you and I get a little bit more of a kick out of digging for, you know, new stuff that we've not seen before in the old film realm and uh that's what this is all about

well it was a spin off from uh rupert pupkin speaks right i mean that's where this all kind of

began i suppose yeah no it's definitely something that uh i've been doing on the blog for a while now

i want to say seven eight years something like that yeah i think that's the main feature that i was

initially drawn to like when i first noticed the main feature that I was initially drawn to,

like when I first noticed the blog and really liked it and wanted to do one because it is just a great way.

I remember when I would do it,

I would always make note of who recommended or how I found the film

if it was a recommendation from someone else,

because I always thought that was kind of a fun way to pass it on.

Yeah, absolutely.

No, that's a really cool thing that you did. And not everybody does that, but I think that is a neat

thing to keep track of while you're discovering new films, who turned you on to it, giving credit

to people like that. It's pretty cool because like I just, then I associate those films with those

people and it's kind of a warm, know feeling to have you know and ultimately this

is the ultimate i mean this episode i think kind of sums up what pure cinema is as a podcast like it

ultimately is about discoveries and films that we want either to discover ourselves or let other people

know about so i think these uh year-end wraps tend to be one of the most important. I kind of change directions this year
