Hi, I'm Otto. Welcome to Ellen Sarah's podcast.

0:10.6

Today we do not have Sarah, which is just such a relief. It is just me, your favorite foster,

0:16.2

Erin, and we have Marley Steinman's very interesting episode. It's about fertility journeys.

0:22.1

Marley is, she has a very unique job. She's a surrogacy consultant, and so I don't think that there's

0:27.1

many of them out there. She wants to just basically help parenthood possible for everybody and help

0:32.5

you navigate it. And so she works with people who are going through IVF and need guidance,

0:38.8

people who are looking for potential surrogate or egg donor or sperm donor, and she just kind of

0:44.3

helps you navigate everything. She sort of, she'll help you build a team around you,

0:48.8

and guide you every step of the way. And it makes it less stressful and help you just focus on

0:54.9

what's important instead of all the stress around it. So she's doing God's work, people.

0:58.8

And even if you're not somebody who's going through fertility issues, we talk a lot about how

1:02.1

to support someone who is. So if you have someone in your life who's going through this,

1:05.4

kind of the right things to say, the things that we beg you to please not say to that person.

1:10.4

And Marley has been through it herself. She went through fertility journey, and she also is a

1:16.1

licensed psychologist, marriage, and family therapist. So she knows what she's talking about,

1:23.2

and even if you aren't having fertility issues, good for you, but you should listen to this anyway,

1:28.7

because there's information for everyone. This is the episode.

1:36.7

Hi. Hi, Marley. It's early. It's 830 in the morning.

1:40.8

Yes, it sure is. I'm sorry about that. I apologize. I've had to do a funny schedule lately.

1:46.5

No worries. Up and five with the kids. So you're up at 5 a.m. Yes.

1:51.8

Sarah and I are very triggered by women who are able to get up at 5 a.m.

1:55.9

I'm not able. There's no option. Before kids, it was like 9 a.m.
