You are a geopolitical author, professor, and chairman of the movement for the neutrality of Montenegro.

You are frequently featured as a commentator on Balkan television and radio. You write

for the EU blog active on geopolitics and for various Balkan newspapers, as well as Sybil Edmund's

Boiling Frogs Post. You also have a book in English title Liberating Oedipus, Psychoanalysis

as Critical Theory. Is there anything else people should know about yourself or your background?

I'm really enjoying to be on this show.

Yeah, not much.

You really summed up all the main things that I've done in the last decade.

Let me say that most of my work is not in English.

Unfortunately, I've written seven books on different subjects.

Lately, I began writing in English, especially for the boiling frogs,

and I have a lot of geopolitical analysis which deal basically with the situation in the Balkans,

but also talk about NATO, US, China, Russia, and many other issues of the day.

Okay, and you suggested we call this episode the Geopolitics of the Balkans, and I think it's a great title. And it just so happens

both of us are from the Balkans. And so we're just going to give a general overview of what's

going on in the Balkans geopolitically and focus a bit on the West, what the West is doing and a little

bit of Chinese interests there as well. And then we'll go country by country.

So, but before we start that, why don't you give us a brief personal perspective that you have as a

Montenegrin on the internal Balkan world?
