0:42.8	Shannon, Velser, where you're sitting next to each other. And you may know that name because she's been
0:46.3	on the show a few times when we've done the intercessor panel. Well, she leaned over and whispered
0:50.6	something to me. She said, I have someone that you need to have on your show.
0:54.6	She said, his story is unbelievable and his message is critical to the church. The church needs
0:58.9	to hear what he has to say. Well, this man's pastor wrote these words about my guest today.
1:04.0	He says, we don't have many heroes today. We have celebrities, but not many heroes. Typically,
1:09.4	celebrities aren't known because of their character, but because
1:11.9	of their exposure. They're celebrated because they've been on TV or gone viral. Heroes, on the other
1:16.8	hand, are known for character, and that's very different from celebrity. Character has a journey
1:22.1	to it, a journey of pain, and making it to the other side. Kevin is such a hero. A fight to forgive is such a journey,
1:30.3	full of facing unknowns, twists, and eventually the lessons of healing, forgiveness, and purpose
1:34.9	that God had to teach Kevin in the wake of what happened on August 24th, 2009. Kevin Ramsey joins me
1:42.8	today to share his story and draw from his book, a fight to forgive,
1:46.7	how to turn their wrongs and your hurts into God's greater purposes. We'll draw from his story
1:51.8	and from his book. I want to say the first part of this show when Kevin tells his story,
