We have superlatives, camp superlatives coming up at the end. We also have to break down what we saw with the Carolina Panthers and the Patriots and carrying the day, of course, unfortunately, with a frackeye. That's the plural of fracas. There were those two. Tom, just cut to the chase and listen to Matt Slater, talk

about it. Well, that's certainly not how we do things. Things happen. You have to hit the reset

button. You move forward. You try to get better. I mean, like I said, football players, we're not

MMA fighters. All right. For you guys who listen to the pod, we're going to try and tighten things up and move more quickly. So watch this.

Phil, I'm all for the aggressiveness and the jostling, but this whole thing was counterproductive.

And three reasons why for me.

It wasn't organic to the play on the field.

There was some shit talking that precipitated the first Christian Wilkerson fight.

There was posturing that precipitated the first Christian Wilkerson fight. There was posturing that precipitated the second

Christian Wilkerson hit-inspired fight. There was a jumping on the sidelines. This stuff didn't

happen in the course of play with the guys involved on the field. It was ancillary stuff.

And to me, it shows how far removed the Patriots are from the way, quote, unquote, they

do things around here.
