Turn with me, please, to the book of First Timothy, the sixth chapter.

We began a series some weeks ago called Fighting the Good Faith Fight.

And we've already covered a lot of ground, so if you haven't been with us let me encourage you

go online download the previous messages watch them and get caught up with us because everything

we're saying now connects with what we've already gone over.

And there's an important principle. We can't review everything, obviously, every service,

so you'd never get to the next things.

But we need to watch about trying to talk to people about something that God's been ministering to us on for the last 10 years.

And it's brand new to them.

And we're trying to talk to them where we are on it now.

And they don't relate.

You wouldn't relate either.

It took you this long to get to this point in it.

Seeing it like that.

Thinking about it like that.

I noticed when there was controversy in the body of Christ, in the book of Acts, about what

it happened with Peter going to the Gentiles' house and preaching to them and in other situations like that.

The Bible said they rehearsed to them from the beginning.

Do you hear that phrase of what God said?

Because all they heard was you went to Gentiles and you preached in their house, which just was not done.

I know that might sound strange to us, but in that day, it was not done.
