1 Timothy 6, and we'll begin here in about verse 12.

1 Timothy 612 says, fight the good fight of faith.

Lay hold on eternal life

whereunto you are also called

and have professed a good

profession before many witnesses

verse 13

I give you charge in the side

of God who quickens all things and before

Christ Jesus,

who before Pontius Pilate, witnessed a good confession.

Is he talking about confession in these verses?

In connection with what?

Fighting, the good fight of faith.

Is there a connection between confession and faith?

Oh, boy.

You know, sometimes people visit our church, and it seems strange to them that we're all saying things.

I'll say, say this, say that.

People go, I'm not saying all that.

That's strange.
