Would you turn, please, in the scripture, to First Timothy, the sixth chapter.

We began some weeks ago on a subject called fighting the good faith fight.

And I believe we're nearing the end of this series for now, for this season.

But we've camped here for quite a while.

We've covered a lot of ground.

The Lord's helped us.

Do you believe that?

Yes.

I mean, I know he has.

I know the things that he's given me to share with you.

I didn't think them up and didn't figure them out.

You know, you can study till you faint and fall out of your chair.

And unless the Lord gives you something, you don't have anything.

And if you do manage to conjure and figure something out on your own, don't preach it.

You'll just confuse people.

But if it's good, it's God.

If it's bad, it's God. If it's bad, it's you.

In 1st Timothy 6, our main text has been verse 12.

What does it say?

Fight.

Who's supposed to fight?

Who's the understood subject?
