I'm Pete Sampson, joined by Matt Fortuna, remotely, of course.

Matt, how are you holding up in these crazy no spring football or any sports times?

We're holding up all right. I mean, I think our kids at like the perfect age where she doesn't know what's going on and we don't have to homeschool her. So like that has become a nice distraction for mom and dad more than a nuisance, if you will. So I think we're really lucky in that regard. And I mean, we're doing all right. I mean, it's a nice day outside now.

We'll go for a walk later around the neighborhood, running into former Notre Dame beat comrade and current athletic college basketball writer Brian Hamilton and his family the other night as we were out for a stroll around the block. We're hanging in there, though. I mean, you know, as a New Yorker and with family out there, which thankfully is all healthy and okay, my heart breaks for the city and for

other parts of the country where it just looks absolutely devastating right now. And by all accounts,

it's just going to get worse the next week or two. But, you know, we're the lucky one. So I think

we're doing okay.

How about you?

Yes.

I mean, South Bend is, it's pretty easy to be socially distanced in South Bend when Notre Dame is not in session, at least like normally and normal times.

So it's been all right.

You know, I've done the cliche things of watching Ozark and learning how to make sourdough bread,

which I think is like 20,

42 year old white guy things to do.

Yeah, but, you know, and then just sort of trying to stay on top of Notre Dame stuff.

It's, you know, I think Brian Kelly and Jack Swarbrick have been sort of doing a little more national media rounds.
