It's June 2004 in the halls of eUniverse in Los Angeles.

Computer programmer Gabe Harriman storms through the office.

Gabe left MySpace not long after the site launched to start his own IT consulting business.

But a few months ago, Chris and Tom brought Gabe back to help them with their latest initiative,

transforming MySpace from a social media site into a mass media company, or as they called it,

the MTV of the internet.

So they hired Gabe to build a brand new music player that will allow independent bands to upload MP3s to the site.

This Chris and Tom hope will bring in more users and advertising dollars.

And Gabe was happy to be back in the fold until he came back from a short vacation

and learned that Chris and Tom brought the music player project in house and handed off Gabe's code to the internal team.

So today, as Gabe bursts into Chris's office, he holds nothing back.
