Hello, I'm Alson Raskin. I'm a writer, mental health advocate, and I'm getting pretty

good at maneuvering myself on crutches. Hi, I'm Gabby Don. I'm a writer by Con by

Seckful. I'm on Wink and I'm still dealing with adult acne, baby. Wait, so how's your

leg going? Not great. I would say the recovery from my knee surgery has been rough. The

reason I got the knee surgery was because I had a dislocation and I had two subluxations.

And so I have so much trauma around my knee and around pain in my knee and feeling

instability in my knee. And so yesterday for the first time, I started to feel my patella

like move in a way that felt very similar to my subluxations and that freaked me the

fuck out. And so then it happened at physical therapy and I started to cry. I just wasn't

able to do what I needed to do because in addition to all just the physical pain, there's

just this mental barrier of being so afraid that if I do the wrong thing, it will happen

again, even though the surgery, the whole point was that it won't happen again. So it's
