This is Hell.

This is hell.

And as we all know, burning fossil fuels is already contributing to a warming planet and climate change.

But fossil fuels are not only burned to make our cars go to heat our homes and to cook our food.

The fossil fuel industry is also heavily dependent upon petrochemicals.

They not only burn fossil fuels heating the planet, but also creates waste, toxic waste,

and sometimes that stuff spills into our waterways, contaminating sea life, and all life it touches.

They also have a foot in the nuclear reactor business that has created cancer alleys and cancer

belts in some of the United States poorest and most environmentally devastated areas.

Here, two, tell us how she and her colleagues fought back and won and are fighting again

and how we might also engage in the battle against toxic plastic pollution driven by climate change causing fossil fuel burning.

you're in a tent. Oh, yes. Actually, I'm in my second tent. My first tent got blew over in Texas northern and about 40 mile my

winds. And so I'm in my second tent and we've got an encampment right here in the ditch

at Dow slash Union Carbide. Matter of fact, it used to be a Union Carbide.

Matter of fact, it used to be a Union Carbide plant

that was built and made plastic since the 1950s.

So I'm in their ditch.
