Why should we honor our father and mother?

Now, the easy answer would be because God says so.

But that answer probably goes over about as well with you as it does with your

children when they say, why should I do this? Well, because I said so. Fortunately, God gives us

some reasons that we ought to honor our parents. Welcome to Pathway to Victory with author and

pastor, Dr. Robert Jeffress. The Bible often describes God as a heavenly father who loves us unconditionally.

So it's really no surprise that our heavenly father would also care deeply about our relationship with our earthly parents.
