This is Handel on the Law, Marginal Legal Advice.

The World Cup that is controlled by FIFA.

FIFA is the overriding organization that controls the World Cup in terms of where it's going to be and

which category or who certain teams play that are from countries because every country sends

its own team. And I mean, there are hundreds, hundreds of countries that do this. I mean,

there's 200 countries in the world and virtually all of them play soccer as their national

sport, except us. Well, anyway, the World Cup for the first time is coming to the U.S., and it is

for the first time hosted by three countries. Usually it's one country. And it is hosted by

three countries, Canada, the

US, and Mexico. And FIFA controls the tickets. And they are being sued. We're attorney

general, California Attorney General, with the California venues, and going to be two games

played in Southern California.

California Attorney General Rob Bonte has sent a letter to FIFA and asking a couple of questions,

specifically about ticket prices that he said are misleading.

And what he did is request just a bunch of information from FIFA to assess

potential violations of California law. Now fans have been a little angry with a number of FIFA

practices surrounding sales of the World Cup, 2026 World Cup, and that takes place June 11th to July 19
