The ninth Democratic presidential debate was the most fiery one yet.

The candidates came out swinging largely against the guy on the debate stage for the first time in this race,

Michael Bloomberg.

Right away, the billionaire took relentless heat from every other candidate.

The others know he's gotten up there in the national polls and they haven't had a chance to go after

him until now.

So for example, Bernie Sanders attacked Bloomberg for a stop and frisk policy he had while he was the mayor of New York, a policy Bloomberg has since apologized for.
