You probaly recognize the name Colonel Tom Kelly if you follow Mossy Oak and are aware of how we feel about him. This week on A Fist Full of Dirt we’re going to share what may be the most incredible story I’ve ever heard about Tom Kelly. At age 96, he killed a longbeard with his daughter sitting next to him. This hunt was put together by a team of big hearted people led and assembled by Daniel Haas. @dfoxhaas It was months in the planning and every tiny detail had to fall in place perfectly to make it happen. Daniel relives the planning, execution and Divine intervention that took place that is nothing short of incredible. Lauran and I both had tears in our eyes listening to this. The up’s and downs, the close calls and emotions involved. This one is beyond special.
"The last one that ever does come to me will call forth the same emotion that the second one did. I will sit there waiting, gun up and heart thundering, and say to myself what I have said on every single occasion since the second one. "I'm glad I lived to see it one more time." Tom Kelly
