A long-range turkey season is over in Mississippi and Alabama, but it's still open in other places.

I'm still seeing a lot of posts and getting a lot of comments.

I posted something other day about moving on to another topic and you read some comment from a guy saying,

wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

He said we got all followed to talk about deer.

We did. And we'll move to him sooner or later of it.

I'm going to go visit with a guy this week and his name is George Partlow.

And he owns a store up in Tupelo called Hunter's Haven.

And I used to call him on him.

So he built one of the early Mosseo customers.

But you know, it's, you hear a lot of talk about online shopping and breaking more of this and gun sales and ammo.

And you can read and get all this information off the internet and news articles and stuff like that.

I always found the best way to find out what's going on is to go with the source.

Number one, George is an unbelievably good turkey hunter. He's been doing it.

About as long as I have and he's an interesting guy, but independent sporting good stores are kind of rare.

I mean, he's a one-off guy and he's been in business for a long time, which tells you he's got some kind of secret sauce.

He's just a good person, good businessman and fair.
