Before I tell you who our guest is today, I'm going to tell you a little bit about where I met him.

I met him when he was actually guiding turkeys at Bent Creek Lodge. Now that

may not sound like a big deal to you guys but man it's a big deal it's a big deal to me now.

You know, I've written some books on turkey hunting that are about 90% laughter and having fun and

maybe 10% how to, but, because I've always believed people like to be entertained but in

one of the books I don't remember which one it was I think it was a second one

there's a chapter in there called Murderers Row and it's about some of the it's about some of the

guides at Bent Creek and I wrote that chapter because how impressed I was not only with Bent Creek,

I've been going to Bent Creek.

We've all been going to Bent Creek Lodge over here at Mossy Oak

for decades.

They were kind of getting started about the same time we were, Johnny Lanier and Leo Allen, two of our most dearest friends in the world.

And it's, uh, turkeys is kind of what they do for fun. Now they have day hunts and pay hunts and

all that they do mostly deer but turkey season it gets serious over

where Johnny and Lee will actually go hunting during turkey season.

But their guides over there, I learned early on how good they were.

And the reason they kind of stood out to me is because I consider this now they got a lot of

acreage over there but there may be five or six or eight turkey guides and everybody
