And today we'll be focusing our attention on buyer persona, ideal customer profiles, and how it

can work in building a contextual marketing strategy or campaign.

So buyer personas is a semi-fictional representation of your ideal customer, which includes demographics, psychographics, behavior, information,

and more in-depth details on who that person may be, where they may be at, and how they

move on a day-to-day basis.

Then for your ideal customer profile, you have a hypothetical description of the type of company that would reap the most benefit from your product.

Then you would use these to build a contextual marketing plan that is a strategy guided based by or based on behaviors and conditions surrounding your content and its relevance.

So when marketing business to business or business to consumer, you must first understand

your potential customer so that way you aren't just wasting your time and their time
