I was ready to strike an optimistic note here in like 20 minutes before we started recording.

We found out that Mike Trout has to have knee surgery and I'm just dying over here.

Shelley, how are you handling this news?

How are your team's doing?

I'm not handling this news well, to be honest.

I mean, I was very pessimistic about Trout coming into the season, but what he's done,

like he is just, I was just like in awe of what he was doing.

He was running.

He was hitting home runs everything and then

just like you said like 10 50 minutes before we log on the big news comes that he has to torn meniscus

and his knee and he's going to have surgery so we're all just as we were like prepping for this pod

like we were all just like just like toad just like

really and just be like well that sucks because it was just like really good just to see trout be

you know capital letters trout again and then he has this and it just it just really it just really

sucks it really does it does it truly sucks I don't

have trout anywhere mainly because I didn't see this version of trout coming it's not that I wouldn't

have drafted him it's just that like it was always the wrong place it was like going and he's going

like the fourth or fifth round I usually was taking a pitcher there or maybe a closer.

And so I don't have trout on any of my teams this season, but I was loving watching Trout
