Ta’Rell is the founder of A True Change, which is a non-profit organization that promotes stability and guidance to inner city at risk-youth and families by providing resources and education. The goal is to help these individuals build a foundation for self-betterment, achievements, and positive lifestyle change. In 2003, Ta’Rell made a mistake and angered a rival gang. Things escalated, and he found himself responsible for the death of another man. Ta’Rell was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
