Hello and welcome to best laid plans.

0:11.5

This is Sarah Hardanger, and this is the podcast where we talk all things planning and planning adjacent.

0:17.6

Today's episode is no exception, although I think I'm going to get a little bit more into

0:22.1

the planning adjacent as I usually do, but we will open up with a couple of bits of, I don't know,

0:28.7

plan or news to things I wanted to share with you guys. So the first one is, I know a lot of people

0:35.7

love the Hobonichi weekly layout and that it only comes in the cousin, which is A5, and I know it's very functional to me as well.

0:47.0

However, not everybody loves the Hobonichi Tomo River paper. I've talked about it a lot. It's very thin.

0:53.7

There is some show-through,

0:55.4

1:24.3

And I think that's a feature.

1:26.0

I absolutely love that.

1:28.5

But some people really don't like to plan daily, or they'd prefer just a blank book so that they're not, you know, specifically

1:33.9

having a dated page for each day. So when I saw the video of Hemlock and Oak, I think I believe

1:40.5

I saw it featured on Amanda's favorites. I was like, wow, this planner's weekly

1:45.8

layout looks so much like the Hobonichi Techo Cousin A5 weekly layout. So I highly recommend

1:53.2

checking that out if you've been looking for a vertical weekly layout with different paper

1:58.0

than Hobonichi, Toma River paper, and without the daily pages.

2:02.0

Because that planner has a little bit of goal setting, but it is a weekly, not a daily planner.

2:07.6

And it does look like the paper is significantly thicker than that used in the Hobonichi products.
