Seattle's King Street Station will be getting some cool new trains. Amtrak plans to invest

$300 million in federal funds in the rail yard, which includes the first introduction of new state-of-the-art arrow trains.

The trains are slated to enter service in 2026. They're more environmentally friendly and are capable of traveling at 125 miles an hour.

The investment will also support 120 construction jobs.
