maybe think about climate change in a new way. Prue is famous for her fiction, but her new book,

Fen, Bog, and Swamp is a non-fiction book about the wetland. And in this interview with NPR's

Layla Faddle, she points out how self-centered a lot of the conversations

around climate change is. She doesn't put it exactly like that. She's a little nicer about it.

She says that we tend to view things in the natural world, quote, in terms of what use it is to humans,

which sure might be obvious, but is also arguably why we're in this mess in the first place.
