So for those that haven't been following the story, Molly Tibbetts, a college student went missing,

and they recently found her body in a cornfield. She was murdered. It's a terrible tragedy.

Apparently the guy who murdered her is an illegal immigrant. Now what I found particularly

fascinating with this story is that the left and the right are sort of framing it in different ways.

My friends on Facebook who are on the left are saying this is a story of a woman rejecting cat

calling, and thus the man became aggressive and he killed her. Many people on the right are saying

this is the case. This is another case of an illegal immigrant murdering a woman and even Trump

at his rally just the other day called out this story saying that this man should never have been

here. So today let's talk about this issue of illegal immigration, whether or not they commit

more crime, and we'll start by reading the story about Molly Tibbetts so we can get an understanding

of just what's happening. And then I'm going to show you some examples of what the left is saying

and what the right is saying and some of the history around illegal immigration crime and this

larger issue. So the first story we have is from Buzzfeed news. It's titled an undocumented

immigrant was charged with killing missing Iowa student Molly Tibbetts. Christian Bahina Rivera,

24-year-old in the US illegally led law enforcement investigators to the missing students body on

Tuesday. Now one thing I want to point out before moving out the story is the debate over what to

call people who are in the country illegally. It seems like people on the left are unwilling to

say illegal immigrant. People associated with the far left just say immigrant. They won't put

the word illegal in front of that or undocumented. The more moderate left we'll call them undocumented

immigrants and the right we'll call them illegal immigrants. There's no real way to say you know

what this person is. The associated press has said unauthorized immigrant. So really it's almost

like a signal to people depending on how you describe the individual. If you call them an illegal
