Knicks winning the NBA Cup, beating the San Antonio Spurs, but also not hanging the banner.

And I was saying this as we're heading to break here.

We're talking about, we're talking actually during the break about saddest banners that we

have in the world of sports.

And I believe Tyler and Bill both agreed that the

Miami Heat having Michael Jordan's number in the rafters is the saddest in sports. And like when you

say it, it's like you can't help but laugh when you think about Michael Jordan's number has been

retired by the Miami Heat, a team he did not play for.

Like, it's just, it's weird. But back to the Knicks who are saying, we're not going to hang this NBA Cup banner. I'm looking at, I think it was this, Stefan Bondi or who, excuse me, if I don't know, it covers the Knicks for the New York Post. And he tweeted out the banners that the Knicks have. And of course, they have like the World Championship banner from 1969, 70, 72, 73, they won the title. But since winning the title

in 72, 73, they hung the banner for Atlantic Division champions in 88, 89, 92, 93, 93, 94. They have an Eastern Conference Championship banner, 93, 94.

They have an Eastern Conference Championship banner 98, 99,

and then an Atlantic Division Championship banner 2012, 2013.

Those are the banners that the New York Knicks have.

And of course, they have some retired numbers like Walt Clyde Frazier and Earl the Pearl Monroe, you know, Willis Reed, Patrick Ewing, et cetera, et cetera. Like, come on. They're acting like there's some like storied friend. Like, you're the frickin' Knicks, man. You haven't won a damn thing since the 70s. Like, like, just hang the NBA Cup banner. But I guess James Dolan just wants to kind of give the middle finger to Adam Silver or whatever's happening here. But like, let's be for real here. Like, you're not too good to hang. The Lakers said we're not going to hang the NBA Cup banner. I'm like, all right, whatever. You know, they're just used to winning championships or the Celtics said it or whatever. But like the Knicks you're gonna act like you're above

this get real uh so that's where things stand with the new york nix but kudos to them for winning

the NBA cup last night here in Las Vegas but uh let's go ahead and get into what we usually
