340 Eastern, it's time to break down the NFL awards landscape heading into week seven of the

regular season. And as we usually do on Wednesdays, let's hit the biggest ones, MVP,

offensive player of the year, and defensive player of the year.

And we'll start with the MVP because this week it's really interesting,

not necessarily from a betting standpoint, but it's interesting because for the first time

all season, we have a new favorite.

And for the first time since the market's opened, way back in April or March, we have

a new favorite in Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Now, Mahomes is sitting at plus 200 after we saw the Chiefs beat the Detroit Lions on Sunday

night.

And on Monday night, we saw the Buffalo Bills suffer a second consecutive loss,

this time at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons.

So as we always do, we analyze the favorite and we asked ourselves the question,

does this make sense?
