Go.

0:31.6

How would you feel about an 18-game schedule in the NFL?

0:34.1

I'm against it.

0:35.0

Oh, why?

0:36.1

Because I think that one of the beauties in the NFL is that they can't throw games away. And I feel like, honestly, I feel like Belichick does a little bit now. And, you know, he's a trailblazer in that league. More teams will do what he does. And so I fear. Like he treats September as a glorified preseason. Sometimes. Yeah. Yeah. Feels that way. So, so he looks at it and goes, well, that's not right. If we, you know, lose a game or even two in September, it doesn't matter because we can afford that. We'll be better by the end of the year. And if they go to 18, like, look, I'm all for more football. Don't get me wrong. But I think it's going to compromise the product. I do. and I feel like they're compromising the product enough here as it is. Like as I look at it with the tackling rules and all this, you know, the concussion concerns and all of that stuff. The lack of practice. All of it. It's a big one. So like, again, I'm for more games. From a viewing standpoint, two games doesn't bother me.

1:35.3

Whatever the hell, figure skating, or two more weeks of NFL football at 75% of what it could be.

1:42.5

NFL football.

1:43.4

Thank you.

2:02.6

I'd rather have that. But I also think, I don't know, maybe can we start the season a week later or something? Like, I think there might be ways to figure that out to extend it a little bit later in the year. And again, from a viewing standpoint, I'll take it. I'll take it. But one of the things I like about the NFL is you got to go balls to the wall all the time. Every game matters. Yes, absolutely. And I feel like that would get compromised. What do you think, McCone? After watching Danny Etling last night, I'm all for more regular season games. I don't need to see any more of that. If they can go to 18 games, that would be great. I'm all for it. I'm all for it.
