Talking about Ian Rappaport, the NFL Network, his story saying the Patriots and Tom Brady's

agents are expected to meet to this week at the Combine, which, like, I mean, I don't mean to write on Rappaport or anything, but I think the story's kind of bogus. I think it's a, I guess, if I had to guess it's an ownership plant and it's just part of the PR game in that, well, here's how it goes.

I think the Pats have gotten some grief for not reaching out to Brady yet, which Brady,

I guess, has made clear or his camp has made clear because it's been reported in several different places, Karen Geregian, Tom Curran, et cetera, that there have been no negotiations

yet, which I think looks bad on the Patriots.

It's like you haven't reached out to the guy yet. Sure. I mean, if you want them back and you want some certainty, why don't you make them in all of you? You've got to start hammering this thing out. Why haven't you called them yet? So that's how I look at it. you know, when you say that Brady and the patrons have yet to start negotiating,

I instinctively would blame the team for not reaching out and not getting that going. Now, I could be totally wrong. It could be Brady and Yee saying, well, we want to wait. You mean, to bring that up is fair. But I don't know. I take that as the Patriots not reaching out yet. And so is that Ian Rappaport story a response?

No, no, we're going to meet the Combine.

And as you'll hear Tom Curran here coming up, that ain't Bill.

You know, Bill's not like, yeah, Ian, we're going to be meeting on Tuesday at the holiday.

And like, Bill's not, that ain't him doing that. I'm chuckling at the impossibility of that. Right. Exactly. Like, you know, Bill's saying, yeah, yeah, why do we meet at the IHop? So that's coming from the team, which means it's coming from ownership. but I think it's a counter to the negative publicity they've gotten for,
