All right, we've had this conversation a couple times since Tom Brady's departure down to Tampa.

That is, who has more pressure on him going forward to perform?

Tom Brady or Bill Belichick?

And we all agree it's Bill Belichick, right?

Yes.

And why?

Does anyone want to enumerate that?

Why Bill Belichick has more pressure on him going forward?

Sure.

Simply, I would just say that Belichick has to live with the, you know, the specter hanging over his head that he's had Belichick, his whole career, or had Brady his whole career,

and that he can't win with anyone else because his early career in Cleveland was largely a failure in terms of wins and losses.

And, you know, if Belichick is what he says he is, that in theory, he should be able to plug in another quarterback and still win.

It's not just people like us that feel this way.

It's his peers that feel this way.

And that's maybe the most important thing.

When you have guys like Rex Ryan going on TV saying like, hey, if I had Brady, I would have won championships too. So I think it's absolutely. But Bill has held to that standard of, well, what did you do without Brady? And his Cleveland record is brought up. It's known. His record without Brady as a starter is known. And it's held against him. It's used against them.

And I feel there's people just Murray just waiting in the weeds to bring that back up as soon as Bill falls on his face without Tom Brady.

And I think there's so it's held against Bill where it's not held against other coaches or players.

And this goes back to Bill's likeability factor or people wanting to take things out on him. So like that's a whole other story. But that clearly exists for Bill Belichick. I think it's greater on Belichick than Brady. Furthermore, wouldn't you say Belichick's mostly responsible for the divorce? Oh, yeah. Yes. I mean, Bill wanted to go in a different direction. Yes. Bill made it untenable for Brady as far as Brady was concerned.
