Boston, we've appeased, I think, the baseball people, Bruins people, Celtics folks, and now it's time to get to the Patriots. And they finally make a free agency signing that I actually like. All the rest have been like, please go get a real wide receiver. That hasn't happened. But this is what it's come to, Jones. I'm excited about the fact the Patriots brought back their very own punter. Oh, come on.

And this isn't a gag.

It's not a joke.

I actually think that special teams matters unlike you. I think you could have made a case that Ryan Allen could have been the MVP of the Super Bowl. And I enjoyed the game, too. I had no problem with that. I like defense. Awful game. But yeah, he comes back on a one-year deal.

1:25.6

We don't know what the financials are just yet.

But I'm glad that one of the kickers is back. Like Steve McGiskeowski, I obviously have said my piece about him time and time again. You know, very reliable. I get it. I actually would like to see him back on a, you know, respectable type deal. You can't trust him in the postseason, especially in the biggest of games in the Super Bowl. That being said, Ryan Allen, I thought that he should be back. Bill Belichick certainly fancies himself the left-footed punters, and he was awesome in the postseason, including the AFC championship game. I like it, but this is what it's come to. They're not going to do anything flashy. They're not going to bring any wide receiver in that I would have liked to see on this team like a golden tate. I'm now excited. They sign Ryan Allen to a one-year deal. So special teams don't matter. But you do you do- Three phases of the game, Jones. No, it's not, though. I mean, the Patriots were as bad on special teams as they've been in a long time and they won the Super Bowl last year. So they don't matter. But you do have to punt from time to time, which means you have to employ a punter who can

actually do it. And I'm, I guess I'm fine with this guy being back. I wouldn't say I'm in love with the deal or anything like that. I guess I'm fine with him being back. I'd like to see the number. You find it weird? it's only a one year deal.

2:32.1

A little bit, yeah.

2:32.8

That's the one part that I find interesting.

2:34.2

It's a little strange.

2:36.0

You know?

Yeah, right.
