The owners approved baseball's plan to go forward with the season this year.

They'll present it to the players tomorrow.

Just a few quick bullet points of this plan, according to Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic.

Regular season beginning early July, consisting of approximately 80 games.

That means it could be not exactly 80, could be 78, could be 82.

The schedule would be regionalized.

And if this has changed or been updated, please stop me and let me know.

But this is based off of what was reported over the weekend.

Teams would face opponents only from their own division and the same division in the opposite

league.

So they wouldn't go to those new 10 team divisions, as had been speculated last week.

Instead, the AL East would play the only in the AL East and the NL East, and that's
