| 0:00.0 | this what are you doing that stupid trickery crap for is feldger in mass the continued issue uh on 985 |
| 0:08.0 | i just want to see what the fuss is about sports hub i'll probably hate it |
| 0:11.1 | all right phones as promised. |
| 0:22.9 | Jeff in the car on the Patriots quarterback thing. |
| 0:23.4 | Go ahead, Jeff. |
| 0:28.9 | You know, aside from the fact that I can't stand listening to Carlton ever when he calls, |
| 1:11.0 | you know, it's easy to just sit there and run down a litany of freaking flyers that Bill Belichick took on quarterbacks in the last 20 years when he knew he had the starter that he was going to have anyway. So, I mean, that's just total junk just to even throw that out there because clearly he wasn't searching for a quarterback in Brady's fifth year. But you know what? He got Castle in the seventh round, and you know what? Say what you want about Castle. 11 and 5. He went to Kansas City and won a frigate. He became a pro ball. He just got hurt. He just got hurt and he had injuries and he didn't have a great career, you know, overall career, but he didn't do that bad. Okay. So to say that he's a complete bus is ridiculous. He was a seventh round pick who made the Pro Bowl. And, you know, I mean, obviously, Goropolo's the first guy that ever really gone at high. He's a second round pick. I think the highest pick they've ever done before. That was fourth rounders. So, I mean, he's never gone after any legit quarterbacks. And now that he finally does all, Carl's just like, wow, you know, he sucked on all these other guys. that he's taken in the eighth and ninth round for the last 20 years. Okay, so you're overstating it a little bit because Kevin O'Connell was a third round pick, and Rohan Davy was a fourth round pick, and they're not all eighth round picks. So don't overplay your hand, caller, because I largely agree with you. I think Belichick deserves credit for Matt Castle. |
| 1:44.8 | He does. |
| 1:45.4 | When he was here, he won 11 games, and he went to Kansas City and went to the Pro Bowl. Sorry. Playing on a team that was nearly unbeaten from the year before. He had a lot of help. Look at all the big games from that year. They lost them. Then he went to Kansas City without Belichick and still went to a Pro Bowl. man. |
| 2:00.5 | And if he, |
| 2:01.0 | and if Garoppel can play, |
| 2:02.5 | then he has Brady and Garoppel on his resume, |
| 2:04.5 | which is all he needs, frankly. Because how many, how many coaches out there develop two guys? How many? Did Walsh develop two guys or one? One. Did Lombardi develop two? I mean, so like, so don't give me this crap. Then there's no one out there who's got two quarterbacks like that on their resume. |
| 2:20.7 | That's all Bill needs. |
| 2:21.8 | Well, but I do give him half a, half a point for Castle too. I do. |
| 2:24.8 | And maybe that's why Garoppolo matters to Bill. |
| 2:27.3 | I mean, he knows the history of the game. |
| 2:29.2 | He looked at, and again, to me, he doesn't eat anything more. |
| 2:31.9 | His legacy is sealed but in his own mind if he leaves jimmy |
| 2:36.0 | garropolo in the league and he can take some credit for that like you know i i just think it was |
| 2:41.9 | his first crack at it really his first crack at finding brady's replacement and he nailed it |
| 2:49.0 | i think here's uh glen in nadik hi glen hey how you doing um to finding Brady's replacement and he nailed it. I think. |
