0:26.4

a lot to cover from the weekend, Maz. I do think the Rob Grankowski stuff and the Patriot stuff

0:31.4

remains the lead, if you ask me. Sure. Do you see that report on ESPN over the weekend? I did.

0:36.3

Pretty much validating what has

0:37.7

already been reported by Curran and uh Greg Bedard among others and I'll give you the

0:43.3

particulars here in a second but just your reaction to a story that won't go away that hasn't

0:48.1

gone away that apparently hasn't been resolved so here's the way I look at it this idea

0:53.1

that Gronk is unhappy and the fact that it is now persisted to the point it has persisted, then all of a sudden it comes out that Bill Belichick has reached the point where he's worried about Gronk being all in and is now willing to trade him. And oh, by the way, now interesting that Gronk is leaning towards playing again. Like I just wonder if all this goes hand in hand. Gronka is leveraging the coach. So the coach is waiting and waiting and waiting. And then it gets to a certain point where he's still waiting. And he says, well, if the guy doesn't want to play, then I'll trade his ass. I mean, what's the point here? I might as well move him. And all of a sudden, Gronk is leaning towards playing. So I think this is the last part of that story to me is a reaction from the Gronk camp because Belichick is getting impatient. And they don't want to piss Bill off to such an extent that he trades actually goes ahead and trades Gronk. Because Gronk wants to play with Brady I would imagine who wouldn't so to me this is sort of a you know there's a little power play little tug of war going on here What do you think Murray? Oh I think it proves that my crackpot theory is still in play here and that is that Brady and Gronk can ultimately force the hand of the crafts to keep Grunk and force Bill Belichick out because it's another football decision that's going to be made over his head. Because I think with everything that you hear, Belichick really does want to trade him because he's already dead in his mind. And I don't think the crafts are going to allow it. And they shouldn't. I agree with that piece. I mean, I don't know if Bill is dead set on trading him. See, I don't think he really wants to trade him.

2:18.8

But I do believe that the team wouldn't do it.

2:21.8

The team wouldn't do it. The organization wouldn't do it, i.e. Kraft wouldn't do it. So I like that. That I do believe. Does Bill want to trade him? I don't know. I mean, would he? Yeah. Bill Wood.

2:30.5

Oh, he'd trade anybody.

2:31.8

Exactly.

2:32.2

He recognizes his importance, but we all know.

2:34.6

And there's no one more ruthless with personnel decisions than that guy.

2:37.2

And if you're not, Bill Wood. Oh, he'd trade anybody. Exactly. He recognizes his importance, but we all know.
