Red Sox Yankees, forgetting David Price. And I don't know if you can. I don't know how you take David Price out of this conversation. but taking price out of the conversation as much as you want to.

Red Sox Yankees, what did the weekend mean to you? Well, so the series as a whole, I thought sucked, frankly. None of the games was competitive. And for, you know, two teams with rookie managers, there wasn't really anything to gain for either one of them in this weekend.

Neither one of them got to put into a spot where they had to make a big decision.

But that part of it aside, in terms of the long-term ramifications of it,

more evidence of the Red Sox inability to go up against one of the real heavy hitters

and make a statement, in fact, more of the opposite. They've now played two series in New York this year, and they've lost them both. That's two out of three the first time, and in this one here, they get their asses kicked. See, to me, you can't separate Price from this conversation because he's your second starter. Or worse than third. I mean, if you talk about handicapping the thing, you've still got how many games against the Yanks? They got 10 more, I believe. 10 more against the team. Yeah, they get a four game or in August and then two, three game series in September. Because you got 10 left there, and then you maybe have a five or a seven game playoff. David Price is going to come up in these games.

He's going to come up in these games and he cannot pitch to that team. So that is, I don't know how you separate that when you handicap it. Well, it's a huge problem. And look, I think it's a problem even beyond the Yankees, the price part of it. but you know to, I don't want to say there's separate issues because Price is,

you know, his own problem under himself.

David Price, for them to win it, okay, for them to win it,

Price has to be a legit number two starter.

Otherwise, he's better, they're better off using him in the bullpen.

If Price falls into the same pile, Mike, as Porcelo, Eduardo Rodriguez,

Pomeranz, and dare I say Stephen Wright, if those guys all end up being six and one,

half dozen of the other, like, what's the difference?
