This filters all the way down to the lowest levels to the guys making $563,500 the minimum salary this year.

Well, so look, I've been on the owner's side for this really from the beginning

because I think the players are increasingly difficult with every generation that goes by.

They become harder and harder to deal with.

They're selfish.

They're unyielding all of that stuff. Complete pains in the asses. But on this one, I feel like the owners went too far. If Mike Trout is going to lose 80% of his salary, it's not even worth it for him to show up, you know, when he has doubts in the first place. So I saw some of these numbers, and I've heard varying reports as to whether the math was right.
