So I think that the owners have put a number on what they're going to pay the players during the regular season, and it's up to the players to decide how they want to get it. Because, again, the money in the contract between MLB and the networks is really all about the postseason. So the owners want to play the postseason. That's what their goal is. That is really the only impetus for them in the regular season.

And so, you know, I looked at the most recent reports, which again, first of all, let me back

up a couple of days and say the players proposed 114 games at pro-rated salary.

The owners will dismiss that out of hand.

reports came out that the owners are considering a 50-game proposal, and it should be noted. They

haven't actually made this to the players yet, at least not based on what I have seen. But in that

scenario, the owners would give the players their pro-rated part of the salary, which means it's about
