Respectfully, both of us disagree with Kevin Paul DuPont in the Globe on Sunday,

who wrote that it's time for the NHL and NBA to call this season.

Enough, no more.

Shut it down.

He says, it's brutal enough to sit around like this, cooped up in fear, anxiety, frustration,

utter boredom and anger without the added unknowingness of whether our favorite winter sports teams will find a way to remove themselves from suspended animation.

And again, Murray, he is saying that the unknowingness of knowing whether the NHL and NBA

are going to return adds to his lists of anxiety, frustration, and anger.

To me, it's just the opposite.

Yeah, me too.

And look, we're all dealing with this in different ways.

And this whole thing is making people feel certain ways.

And, you know, we're all different.

But that, I'm sorry, for the long list of things that are making me feel like I have a, you know, 50 pound weight on my chest every single day.

That's not one of them.
